The Girls of The City : Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port

I've been meaning to write about the leading ladies from MTV's reality show, The City since a long time ago, but for some reason i keep on forgetting. This time I finally have enough pictures to put in this entry so I thought I'd post it :)

I've always loved Whitney Port since she was in The Hills. At that time she was still an intern at Teen Vogue along with well-known reality star Lauren Conrad. She always had a great style, which is no wonder because she has always been involved in the fashion industry from quite a young age. I was really disappointed when she left The Hills but was more than happy to find out that she was going to star in her own show called 'The City'. I followed it faithfully from season one until now (already started season 2) and never missed an episode.
The City is all about fashion and life in New York. You get to see Whitney work at Diane Von Furstenberg in season 1, then she worked at People's Revolution (Kelly Cutrone's company) and she also started her own clothing line in season 2, called Whitney Eve which I absolutely adore! Of course there were friends and relationship issues, like Whitney's awkward relationship with socialite Olivia. Olivia used to work with Whitney at DVF, but now works at Elle. If you want to know the whole story you have to watch it. It's totally worth it and there are a lot of clothing inspirations from it.

Celebrity Crushing

I've had an eye on Emma Robert's style for a while now. The fact that she has grown into such a beautiful, successful and trendy young lady, made me choose her as my current favorite celebrity. She certainly proved herself to everyone that she's more than just Julia Roberts' niece. We can see that emma ;)

The different styles of Emma

"I remember being twelve and thinking, I can't wait until I'm sixteen, because by then I'm going to have a car, a driver's license, a really cool boyfriend, and boobs. And now I'm eighteen, and I have none of those things. None!"

Loving the blazer!

"I used to have a crush on Nick Jonas, but he's kind of making his rounds in Hollywood, and I don't know if I like that."

(Amanda Seyfried, Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart)

I know this isn't a grand post but I just wanted to share my admiration with you all hehe.. I hope you love her as much as I do, especially after seeing this post *wink

Peeking into the other side: Men and their thing for fashion

Hellooo whoever is reading my blog :)

Can you believe May is already here? That means for those of you living in a four-weather country summer is just around the corner! It's time to put away all your coats, jackets, scarves, etc and take out your summer dresses and put on your shades! I bet each and every one of you already have plans for the summer vacation, am I right? ;)

Ok, so for this month I decided to do a special post on men's fashion. Sometimes us girls forget that guys can be as fashionable as we are. Plus nowadays guys have so much more choices and are more expressive than ever when it comes to style. I've looked at some profiles in lookbook and boy am I impressed! Those guys sure know how to dress up! It wasn't easy for me to decide which ones to pick, but I finally made up my mind and chose 2 guys for this post. Check them out and tell me what you think!

Match your Khaki pants with a simple top/shirt and don't
forget to add a belt as well.

Who said t-bar sandals are only for the ladies?

Always, always accessorize.

A few days ago as I was doing my usual stalking on Kim Bum (my current obsession), I came across some amazing fashion spreads from Elle Girl Korea. Seriously, Korea has the best fashion styles in all Asia. While Japanese people are much more quirky and put on daring ensembles, Koreans offer a much simpler and wearable outfits. Honestly, I can't see myself wearing those bold clothes and accessorizes like the ones you see on the street of Harajuku. But don't get me wrong, i love the way people dress up in Japan. I even wish I were brave enough to dress up like them hehe ;)

So anyway, I managed to get a couple of these photos from Elle Girl Korea. I really should check out the magazine, even though I won't be able to understand a thing :p

Kim Bum, my love

No Infringement intended.

I will probably update this post soon since I don't have much time in my hands right now. I'm writing this post in the middle of my assignments hahaha. Multitasking is hard! Will get back to my blog very soon x.
